UPMC Unit Director Undergoing Chemo Gets Superhero Surprise

When Glenn Zinsmeister showed up for what is known as the daily “bed” meeting on a recent morning at UPMC Shadyside, he found himself the center of attention. Zinsmeister, a unit director, was surprised to find his colleagues wearing superhero T-shirts in support of his fight against Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The nurses Zinsmeister works with found out he had been wearing a different superhero T-shirt to each of his chemotherapy treatments. So the group got together and had red T-shirts made that included a compilation of different superhero logos.
